4 slices sourdough or other hearty bread 2 Tbsp. butter, melted 8 oz. spreadable brie 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and cut into thin slices 1/2 cup cranberry sauce - whole or jellied - your preference
Layer the brie, apple, and cranberry sauce on the bread. Cover with a top slice of bread.
Brush butter on the topside of the bread and place butter side down in a skillet heated to medium heat.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes (check frequently for degree of brown - not all stoves are created equal!)
Gently flip and brush the other side of the sandwich with butter. Cook until delicately brown on the bottom.
